Buy Computer Cables Online in Nigeria

Computer cables are everywhere in our lives. We see them hanging on monitors, USB devices, external DVD drives, eSATA hard drives, etc. Most of these units communicate via USB. Some, such as displays, require high-bandwidth digital cables to work properly.

There are many types of these wires, and USB is the most common type. Generally, a USB has a flat connector on one end and a square connector on the other end. FireWire, parallel, and serial are other formats used.

There are three main types of audio cables commonly used: optical fiber (TOSLINK), firewire, and auxiliary 3.5mm. The first two are digital, and they produce high-quality audio. They support various surround system formats, such as 7.1 AUX. 3.5 mm is analog and requires additional connections to be used with 5.1 surround sound systems.

Speaking of videos, there are many types:

  • Apple Display Connector Integrates video, USB and power into one unit.
Coaxial-Also known as Coax, this type has a black coating around it and a copper tip extends. Many PC TV tuner cards use the coaxial format.
  • DisplayPort and Mini-DisplayPort These cables can display resolutions up to 8K. The connection on the Mini-DisplayPort end is small.
DVI-Single link DVI-I connects your video card and monitor. The resolution is up to 192×12. There is also Dual-Link DVI with a maximum resolution of 256×16.
  • HDBaseT This is a high-definition cable that supports resolutions up to 4K.
HDMI-This is a digital format, the high-speed version supports a maximum resolution of 1K. Look for wires labeled “High Speed”, “1.3” or “1.4” for best results.
  • S-Video This is an old format that only supports up to 48i.
The thunderbolt-Another digital format that supports resolutions up to 4K. This is usually seen on Macintosh.
  • VGA An analog connection, VGA is an old standard that supports resolutions up to 18p. However, in some cases, it can be higher.

Computer Cables are used for stationary computers and laptops. They run on alternating currents. The printer power supply usually consists of two parts. Part of it is a box with a wire on one side that can be plugged into the back of the device. The other is a separate wire with a three-pin female connection on one side. One end is plugged into the male socket on one side of the power supply and the other end is connected to the wall socket.
