Thuraya SatSleeve and adaptor allow users to dock their phones and supported devices securely. It is a universal adaptor that will adjust to the size of the smartphone.
It is important to realize that the “docking” of the smartphone does just one thing–it secures the phone physically to the SatSleeve.
The satellite communication connection happens when you pair the smartphone with the Sat Phone Sleeve using the dedicated app, and not through the docking process. So if you want to use the Thuraya Satellite Sleeve undocked (with the phone away from the SatSleeve) you can do that without any problem.
The App supports 12 languages: Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese (Simplified), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
The Sat Sleeve connects to the Smart Phone or Device via Wi-Fi and a dedicated App.
Wi-Fi operational radius is up to 30m (depending on locations).
For security reasons, the Thuraya Sat Sleeve supports only one Smart Phone or Device, so you will not be able to pair it with multiple devices. The Sat Sleeve does not interfere with your normal use of your Smart Phone. If you are within mobile coverage, you will be able to make and receive GSM calls as usual.

You can connect the Sat Sleeve to a PC in GmPRS mode and use the PC’s browser. Data download speeds up to 60 kbps for downloads and up to 15 kbps for uploads
